Maggee Tennessen

Maggee Tennessen was among the first country dancers in Arizona to compete in National competitions in the late 1980's. Maggee has been teaching country/western and swing dancing since 1989 with a background in music and dance.

Maggee was the director of the Arizona State Dance Championships for eight years and opened her own studio in 1995. She created the Arizona Dance Club in 1997, which provides networking for new dancers into the dance world. In 2010 she also became the Arizona Distributor for dance boots and shoes.

Maggee's expertise lies in dances done at local nightclubs around the valley as well as at National country competitions. Dances that she specializes in are; Arizona 2-step, Progressive 2-step, Triple 2-step, Night Club 2-step, Half-time, Waltz, ChaCha, Polka, East Coast Swing, Jitterbug, West Coast Swing, Country Swing, as well as Line dances, and Salsa.

With a background in competition team choreography, Maggee most recently has formed a performance line-dance team called "The Sassy Chassis". The team provides entertainment for various organizations around the valley.
